Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service and repair the property's physical assets. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, and complete make-ready work to prepare vacant homes for leasing.

This role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. You may work on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and tools inventory, reorders as needed, and documents work completed.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
