Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical conditions of our properties meet safety and quality standards. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and help with make-ready processes for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license. On-site duties include HVAC, electrical, plumbing tasks, and basic repairs, with on-call shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics preferred.
• Commitment to safety standards and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and perform inspections.
• Track materials, tools, and supplies; notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests clearly for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and amenities and perform routine cleaning as needed.
