Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pleasanton, CA to execute routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance under supervision. The role includes care of common areas, units, and basic make-ready tasks to uphold property standards.

You will respond to work orders, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, and ensure safety compliance. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with on-call duties possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with the maintenance/repair of community areas and units as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and performing maintenance/repair related turnover events.
• Maintain the exterior of the community, including grounds and common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and keep accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and facilities daily to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of the property.
• Follow Asset Living policies and safety guidelines.
