Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our communities. The role involves routine work orders, repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in common areas.

You will respond to resident requests, coordinate make-ready tasks, and participate in on-call coverage. The position requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• General knowledge of property maintenance tasks.
• HVAC knowledge is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine work orders at the community, including appliance repair and on-call tickets.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections (weekly/monthly).
• Ensure apartments are market-ready and respond to resident service requests promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist in make-ready processes for vacant units and coordinate needed vendors.
