Dweck Properties in Herndon, VA is hiring a Maintenance Tech to handle routine maintenance, service requests, and on-call emergencies on a rotating basis. You will prep apartments for new residents and use Yardi to track preventive maintenance and work orders.

The role requires experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or hotel engineering in plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• HVAC, EPA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather.
• Live within 1-hour response time from the property for on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond within 24 hours to service requests.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair HVAC systems and electrical components.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status and move-ins.
