Job summary

Idm-Companies-1 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and enhance the community’s physical integrity and living environment. The role requires prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting and delivering excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will perform detailed apartment turnovers, follow safety and OSHA policies, respond to service requests, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for safe operation, maintenance and repair of on-site equipment, including OSHA compliance.
• Completes detailed make-ready turnover of apartments (painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance).
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance requests.
• Participates in on-call rotation with the Maintenance Team.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Adheres to company policies while delivering high level customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary.
