Job summary

Idm-Companies-1 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents, visitors, and staff. The role requires hands-on work with turnover tasks, equipment repairs, and after-hours emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1-3 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift heavy loads while meeting safety standards. Weekend availability and on-call responsiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for safe operation, maintenance and repair of on-site equipment, including OSHA compliance.
• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and make-ready checklists.
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Participates in on-call rotation with the Maintenance Team.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary.
