Job summary

IDM Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the community’s physical integrity and deliver a clean, well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of related experience, can work in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to safety and exceptional customer service. Weekend work and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs on-site equipment safely, per OSHA and health policies.
• Completes detailed turnover of apartments including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, and appliance maintenance.
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Participates in on-call rotation and assists with inspections of public areas and apartments.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Adheres to company policy while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings.
