Job summary

Idm-Companies-1 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the community's physical integrity and provide a clean, safe living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs while performing 8–12 hour shifts. Weekend work and on-call emergencies are required in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance and repair of all on-site equipment.
• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and completion of a detailed make ready checklist.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance requests.
• Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team.
• Assists with the inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure proper maintenance and standards.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Compliance and attention to company policy while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary.
