Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service our apartment communities. You will perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, and maintain clean, safe common areas while delivering excellent resident service.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll follow safety procedures, keep accurate records, and assist with turnover and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Reliable transportation and ability to rotate on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests thoroughly and timely.
• Assist with preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and excellent resident service.
• Assist with turnover, grounds, and pool maintenance as needed.
• Document maintenance activities and logs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
