Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Charleston, SC apartment communities. You will perform a broad range of building and systems maintenance, handle service requests, and support safety and preventive maintenance programs to protect property value.

In this role you’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor on inventory, scheduling turns, and emergency responses. EPA certification and hands-on repair skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Type I/II certifications preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances.
• Must live within commuting distance to property.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory and supplies monitoring.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with supervisor on budget guidelines and turn events.
• Respond to emergency calls and maintain records of work performed.
