Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across properties. You will assist in corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under supervision to ensure community standards and safety.

The role requires on-site presence and participation in on-call emergencies. Key duties include responding to work orders, performing make-ready tasks, maintaining the maintenance shop, and keeping accurate records of service requests and safety logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks under supervision of Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards.
