Job summary

Yes! Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our resident communities safe, clean, and well maintained.

You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with deliveries and inspections while coordinating with residents and management. The role requires a valid in-state driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operations.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and use of electronic devices/tablets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and setup and report any warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to compliance and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.
• Additional duties as assigned by management and subject to change.
