Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and stocked, while engaging with residents and ensuring timely service requests and inspections.

You will help maintain assets and grounds, with teamwork as a core element. Essential duties include preventative maintenance, grounds upkeep, responding to after-hours calls, reading meters, assisting with new home delivery, and adherence to OSHA and safety standards, with flexibility for changes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• Experience in home refurbishment or make-ready preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience a plus.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance and make-readies.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, maintaining safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergencies according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters and identify leaks; report as needed.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in team and safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE requirements.
• Maintain safe winter conditions via snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
