Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community grounds safe, clean, and well maintained. You will handle service requests, inspections, and collaborate with residents and vendors.

You must have a valid in-state driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably prior home refurbishment experience. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or pool operation experience is a plus. OSHA certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing and pool operations experience a plus.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report any warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to compliance and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.
• Additional duties as assigned by management and subject to change.
