Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site duties at our Sarasota community. The role supports corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready tasks and safety compliance.

Strong attention to detail and reliable on-site attendance are essential. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, pool maintenance, daily grounds inspections, and maintaining records per EPA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required to perform on-site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas in a timely manner.
• Perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend property life and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, make-ready status, and safety regulations.
• Be part of on-call emergencies at the community.
