Job summary

Hunt Military Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities. You will perform general upkeep, troubleshoot, and document repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry in outdoor and tight spaces.

Mentoring junior techs and adhering to safety practices are part of the role. This is a full-time, on-site position in Valdosta, GA, with a focus on responsive service, preventive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be a team player with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and daily use of technology platforms.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic safety practices and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests including furnaces, air-conditioning, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
• Performs skilled work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or locksmith with basic troubleshooting.
• Documents work performed in accordance with company policy and provides great customer service.
• Maintains tools and equipment in ready repair; follows PPE guidelines.
• Performs preventive maintenance and assists in making ready vacated units for occupancy.
• Handles emergency maintenance issues such as sewage backups, water leaks, and other emergencies.
• Mentors junior technicians and supports efficient maintenance operations where needed.
