Job summary

Emerge Living is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Parkwyn Townhomes in North Richland Hills, TX. You will help operate and maintain the community, perform make-ready tasks, and ensure a great resident experience.

You will handle work orders, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance, reporting to the Community Manager. This role requires physical stamina, English communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English for all work-related purposes.
• Must be able to work weekends and respond to emergencies after hours if on-call.
• Must have own smartphone and be compliant with security systems and operations software.
• Have EPA Type 1 and II certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance on property.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant apartments and create punch lists.
• Track materials, inventory, and notify supervisor for re-ordering.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and minor painting.
• Assist in cost-control by using parts efficiently.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA training; report incidents promptly.
• Periodically inspect work by contractors and vendors for quality.
