Job summary

Emerge Living is seeking an experienced Service Manager in North Richland Hills, TX. You will lead maintenance operations, mentor staff, coordinate with vendors, and uphold safety and quality standards across residential communities.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, plus strong customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in apartment maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
• EPA Certification Type I and II required.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop 3+ team members while ensuring compliance through regular inspections.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to set goals and maintain operational excellence.
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems; problem-solving minded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the maintenance team to address property and apartment repairs.
• Respond to service requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain move-in-ready apartment inventory to meet leasing demand.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize emergencies.
• Manage the maintenance department with energy and professionalism.
