Job summary

Emerge Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep apartment communities safe, functional, and inviting on-site. You’ll handle make-ready tasks, routine maintenance, and responsive service to resident requests.

Reporting to the Community Manager, you’ll perform inspections, light plumbing/electrical work, pressure-washing, painting curbs, and coordinate with vendors as needed. A valid driver’s license and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Clear English communication, both written and verbal.
• Willing to work weekends and respond after hours when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety rules.
• Make-ready tasks: inspect, punch lists, schedule vendors, and prepare units.
• Track materials, inventory, and document work completed.
• Assist with groundskeeping: cleaning, painting, and curb signage as required.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervise contractors when needed.
