Job summary

Emerge Living is seeking an Entry-level Maintenance Technician in Stafford, TX to maintain and improve the community, buildings, and grounds. You will work with the maintenance team to handle make-ready tasks and routine duties, reporting to the Community Manager and Service Manager.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, managing make-ready processes, inventory, and safety compliance while supporting cost-saving practices and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Shifts may include weekends and after-hours emergencies.
• Smartphone use for work with password-protected devices.
• EPA Type 1 & II certification within 90 days.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance per policy.
• Make-ready process for vacant homes, manage punch lists.
• Track inventory and reorder supplies.
• Document service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds and perform general cleaning.
• Support cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing.
• Attend safety meetings and training.
• Periodically inspect contractor work.
