Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain an active adult community in Charleston, SC. You will diagnose and repair issues from resident requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal across buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

The role emphasizes quality workmanship, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• State and local certifications as required for the property.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant homes and coordinate vendor work.
• Access and obtain materials from the property’s maintenance department; track inventory and re-order as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
