Greystar's The Carnahan Collection in Spokane seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to service and repair appliances, painting, carpentry, and plumbing in residents' homes and common areas. This temporary role covers a LOA with potential for permanent placement at other Greystar communities.

You will diagnose issues, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, maintain exterior spaces, manage vendor coordination, and document work orders while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins via the make-ready process.
• Maintain exterior buildings and parking areas; assist with vendor management.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment.
• Document work orders and inventory; ensure proper paperwork.
• Support safety and risk management efforts and inspections.
