Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You’ll handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, and assist with grounds and common areas while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Tracks materials from maintenance department, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor to reorder supplies.
• Maintains documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenities upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Contributes to cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
