Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of properties meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role focuses on completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing units for leasing, with responsibilities covering grounds, common areas, and equipment, while adhering to safety rules.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for property operations, and flexibility to work a schedule

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling.
• Access materials and track inventory, notifying supervisors when re-orders are needed.
• Document service activities accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
