Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Bradenton, FL to perform mechanical and technical tasks ensuring buildings and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role involves handling work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and on-site maintenance across a 268‑unit property.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, safety compliance, documenting activities, and assisting with grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing by performing make-ready tasks and inspections.
• Monitors materials and inventory; notifies supervisor to reorder supplies.
• Documents service activities to support tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
