Job summary

Greystar in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety and code compliance while supporting the make-ready process for vacant homes.

You must hold EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal, a valid driver’s license for golf-cart use on site, and any required state/local licenses.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• State and Local certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects or problems, complete work orders, and repair per policies and safety/code requirements.
• Make-ready vacant apartments by inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Access and manage materials and tools, track inventory, and notify supervisor for reordering.
• Document service activity promptly for accurate tracking of requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Support cost-control by using parts and tools efficiently and avoiding waste.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
