Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform mechanical and technical work ensuring buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. Responsibilities include handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and making-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires following safety policies, documenting work, and assisting with grounds and common-area upkeep while supporting cost-control efforts. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Access materials and manage inventory with established processes and safety rules.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting.
• Contribute to cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
