Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician for the Elan LoSo property in Charlotte, NC. You will perform maintenance requests, complete make-ready tasks, and keep grounds and common areas clean to meet Greystar standards.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications Type I and II or Universal, valid driver’s license, OSHA training, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Makes ready for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work.
• Processes materials and tools appropriately, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies maintenance about re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately to ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
• Complies with safety policies, attends safety meetings, and reports accidents promptly.
• May inspect contractor work to verify quality and scope.
• Performs regular property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.
