Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities across on-site properties. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, and complete the make-ready process for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and OSHA safety training. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type 1 & II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart and vehicles on property.
• Must complete OSHA/safety training and follow risk-management policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance following safety standards and codes.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant apartments, inspect, punch list, schedule vendors, and ensure timely completion.
• Access materials and supplies from the property maintenance department; track usage and reorder as needed.
• Document all service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and archiving.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools safely.
