Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of garden-style properties. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, inventory control, and routine inspections. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license for on-site operations; on-call evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type 1 & II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license may be required to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance; diagnose and repair defects per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents and files service requests accurately to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting curbs, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
