Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors, grounds, and amenities meet company standards. The role includes completing work orders, prepping units for leasing, and supporting safety and cost-control initiatives.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, inventory management, and collaboration with vendors. The position requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays and EPA refrigerant

Qualifications

• Must perform and document work orders for repairs and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Proficient in completing the make-ready process for vacant units and scheduling vendors as needed.
• Maintain inventory and track materials; notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Ability to inspect and document work performed to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing, conduct pre-move-out inspections, and create punch lists.
• Schedule vendors/contractors, obtain supplies, and inspect completed work.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
