Job summary

Timberland Partners' Legacy Village in Springfield, TN, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our 212-unit community. You will own general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to provide residents with an outstanding living experience.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM with rotating on-call shifts. Pay range is $25.00–$27.00 per hour plus quarterly bonuses; eligible benefits include health, 401(k) matching, rent discounts, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA universal license for HVAC required (must be willing to obtain EPA within 90 days if not already certified)
• CPO license preferred
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer
• Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment residents are proud to call home.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, serving as a trusted set of eyes and ears to protect the property and its residents.
• Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks so new residents walk into a flawless home on day one.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring peace of mind for residents when urgent issues arise.
• Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures, protecting yourself, your teammates, and the community.
