Timberland Partners in Howell, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to own general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance for a 131-unit property. You will handle resident work requests, preserve curb appeal, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include completing make-readies, repairs, and inspections, with on-call shifts and a property-focused safety culture. The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, HVAC/Plumbing knowledge, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA universal license for HVAC preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, major appliances.
• Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to high quality standards.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, protecting residents and property.
• Execute make-readies, repairs, and final checks for move-in readiness.
• Provide on-call emergency support on a rotating schedule with stipend for on-call shifts.
• Uphold safety by following industry procedures.
