Timberland Partners Inc in Madison, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 120-unit community. You will own the upkeep, perform unit turns, and handle preventative maintenance to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will review work requests, maintain common areas, and respond to on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule. This role requires 2+ years in maintenance, HVAC and appliance repair skills, and basic computer use.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential preferred.
• EPA universal license for HVAC preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and major appliances.
• Experience with turnover/make-readies of apartments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and daily maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards.
• Identify and resolve safety or upkeep issues to protect residents and the property.
• Execute make-readies, repairs, and final checks for move-in readiness.
• Provide on-call emergency support on a rotating schedule.
• Adhere to safety procedures to protect team and community.
