Job summary

Greystar seeks a maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of our properties meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready preparations for new residents.

The role involves light groundskeeping, inventory control, and thorough documentation of work orders. Qualified candidates hold EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal), a valid driver’s license for golf cart operation on-site, and

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and codes.
• Executes make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Maintains inventory by tracking used items, returning unused supplies, and notifying supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assists in groundskeeping and upkeep of amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
