Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment ready, inspect and repair a wide range of fixed mechanical systems, and generate the required daily/weekly reports. You will diagnose and fix machinery while following safety rules and environmental policies.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical repair within heavy industry, with skills in welding and basic computer use. The ideal candidate adheres to PPE guidelines and contributes to a safe, efficient plant environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment following the manufacturer’s service intervals and company procedures.
• Inspect condition and operation of plant equipment and report required repairs or findings to Supervisor.
• Perform required emergency repairs on production equipment to address plant breakdowns.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental and company policies and complete required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and environmental policies and promote safety culture.
