Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment in a state of readiness, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose and repair a wide range of fixed mechanical equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and timely documentation across plant operations.

The candidate will conduct inspections, address breakdowns, and uphold health, safety and environmental policies while maintaining efficient production during shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and plant maintenance (change screens, welding, cutting torch, wrenching).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment following service intervals and procedures.
• Inspects plant equipment and reports needed repairs to supervisor.
• Performs emergency repairs to address production line breakdowns.
• Adheres to safety, environmental and company policies; completes paperwork timely.
• Promotes health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
