Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment in peak condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and guide repairs across a range of fixed mechanical systems and machinery in a heavy industry setting.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, conducting emergency fixes when needed, and maintaining accurate reports. Applicants should have 2+ years of mechanical repair experience and basic computer skills; welding abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with plant maintenance tasks.
• Welding skills (stick, arc) and lite fabrication are a plus.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment following manufacturer service intervals and company procedures.
• Inspects condition and operation of equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments; reports findings to Supervisor.
• Performs emergency repairs to address plant break downs to minimize downtime.
• Adheres to safety, environmental and company policies; completes required paperwork timely.
