Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment in a state of readiness, perform inspections and preventative maintenance, and inform management of conditions impacting production. Daily reports and timely completion of work orders are required.

The role requires welding experience, ability to work in confined spaces, and basic computer skills. Safety, PPE compliance, and a proactive safety culture are emphasized across all activities.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repair, installation and construction in heavy industry.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; ability to operate welding and machining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant and mobile equipment; perform repairs, adjustments and preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders; install, repair and fabricate metal structures; ensure availability and safety of items.
• Prepare and weld steel and aluminum structures and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and report findings to Area Manager.
• Assist team members as needed to support activities.
