Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our residential communities in top condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage items from inspections to completion, while rotating on-call to provide 24/7 coverage.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of maintenance experience, plus strong customer service and troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications preferred.
• EPA 608, Boiler or related certifications within 9 months of hire.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting systems.
• Coordinate with technicians and contractors on assigned projects.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Provide responsive, professional service to residents on service requests.
