Qualifikationen

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation.
• Ability to communicate with associates and residents for customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures including safety policies.
• Knowledge of PPE and proper chemical handling.

Aufgaben

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and safety systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs per company standards and in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner and performs turnkey work.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions and nonfunctioning equipment.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per AvalonBay standards.
