AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Los Angeles to perform maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing service requests, and ensuring apartments are rent-ready in a timely fashion.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for on-call rotation. The position emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and resident satisfaction.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs preventive maintenance on community assets.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
