Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family community. You will operate building systems, communicate effectively, and deliver on our mission of high-quality service.

Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, cabinetry, and appliances, completing resident-requested tasks within 24 hours, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ related experience required.
• Intermediate level understanding and experience in the following basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred HVAC and EPA.
• Communication and effective interaction with co-workers, managers, vendors or residents; sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.
• Advanced skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
• Extensive knowledge of appliances.
• Basic computer skills (able to operate mobile device, PC).
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be available for on-call and emergency work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Apply proficiency in two or more trades to ensure quality maintained homes.
• Perform installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within 24 hours.
• Maintain and close all service requests using Yardi Mobile.
• Respond to on-call service requests and emergency calls.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and demonstrate safe use of tools.
• Participate in departmental or regional meetings and community events.
