Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC during turnovers and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be on-call after hours.
• Carry out unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and cleaning.
• Assist neighboring properties with maintenance tasks.
• Fetch supplies from area vendors with insured vehicle.
• Report health and safety concerns to management.
• Participate in regional and corporate training as required.
• Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
