Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to support maintenance of material handling equipment across our supply chain facilities in the Tucson area. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical systems, robotics, conveyors, and ASRS, with hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a background in electrical/electronic principles, basic blueprints, and PLC familiarity, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license required.
Experience with electrical and electronic principles.
Experience with preventative maintenance and basic blueprint reading.
Comfort working in temperature-controlled environments (F&B context).

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, and ASRS.
Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales, and printer applicators.
Reset, repair, or replace belts, chains, cables, and worn components; clean, lubricate, calibrate equipment.
Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, encoders, and PLCs.
Create and close Work Orders using asset management apps with accurate data.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE; ensure a safe work environment.
Operate Target-owned vehicles for maintenance and parts采购; travel to nearby facilities.
