Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 3 (MT3) on a night shift to keep material handling equipment available and safe. You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, validate work quality, and coordinate with maintenance peers to minimize downtime.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs, wiring diagrams, and NEC/MHE safety standards, with 4+ years in maintenance and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical fields or related technical certs.
• 4+ years in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Experience with PLCs and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE including conveyors, robots, ASRS.
• Configure PLCs and control components; troubleshoot field buses and devices.
• Develop work plans with peers for emergency repair of critical assets.
• Use asset management tools to create/close Work Orders with data.
