Job summary

Burlington Stores seeks a Maintenance Skilled Technician to install, maintain and repair automated material handling equipment across our distribution network. You will work with fellow technicians to keep conveyors, sorters, robotics and AS/RS systems running, while following safety procedures and LOTO protocols.

The role includes diagnosing faults, adjusting hardware, using work orders in our asset management system, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years maintenance experience in a distribution/manufacturing/industrial setting
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring
• Experience in work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance, commonly used industrial tools, basic carpentry and plumbing, basic blueprint and schematic reading, electrical and electronic principles, basic metal fabrication and welding, and industrial controls and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, or ASRS
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators
• Adjust, reset, repair, or replace belts/chains/cables and wearing components
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment
• Use appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, encoders, etc.
• Assist with basic electronics/ PLC troubleshooting
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of industrial robots
• Use asset management mobile apps to create and close Work Orders
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage (LOTO, Arc Flash) to maintain a safe environment
