Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Technician I to help maintain our community and equipment in line with company guidelines. You will perform make-readies, conduct preventive maintenance, complete service requests, and assist with janitorial duties to keep the property hazard-free.

Ideal candidates work well in a team, can solve problems, and have maintenance experience. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($21.00-$24.00) with a comprehensive benefits package including 401K

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, general labor, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems, or similar (i.e. commercial retail or other residential) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for occupancy through make-readies including inspections and repairs (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, and preventive maintenance).
• Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly and professionally.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and debris-free surroundings.
• Apply safety measures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
