Job summary

CCH is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Mountain Falls I & II in Idaho Falls, ID. The role involves ensuring upkeep and safety of housing properties and collaborating with the management team to service and prepare units for occupancy.

The position requires hands-on maintenance skills, familiarity with building systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role offering competitive wages and benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years as a Maintenance Tech or similar required.
• Prior experience in apartment maintenance or construction required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Yardi (or similar) is preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn the organization’s systems is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Background checks will be conducted after conditional offer.
• Driver's license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents.
• Assist in enforcing safety regulations by identifying and reporting and/or correcting safety hazards.
• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, emptying trash, replacing light bulbs, etc, as needed.
• Maintain and repair all aspects of physical building, outdoor areas, parking areas, and individual units including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
• General carpentry duties to prepare apartments for move-in; including cleaning, painting, repairing, replacing, and/or refinishing surfaces, windows, appliances, window coverings, flooring, etc.
• Make ready units should be completed within 3-5 days of the unit being released to the office.
• Move common space furniture, supplies, and equipment.
• Enter completed work orders into the Software system with all detailed information pertaining to each repair.
• Other duties as assigned.
